Doel is a small town in the northern part of Belgium. In 1969 they started to build a nuclear power plant. More and more people are leaving Doel as the harbor of Antwerp keeps on growing. Doel is becoming deserted and one can really sense and see this: graffiti everywhere, demolished and abandoned houses, smashed windows, ...

At the right hand side of the picture you can read "vrijbuiter", meaning 'filibuster' or 'buccaneer'.
